In order to celebrate the centenary of the Communist Party of China and further implement the spirits delivered in General Secretary Xi Jinping's letter to international students of Peking University, the Foreign Affairs Office organized international students to go to the theme exhibition of "New Qinghai Spiritual Heights" in Qinghai Art Museum in the afternoon of July 2 in order in order to carry out the practical teaching of "Exploring the Beautiful Qinghai and Experiencing the Red Culture".
When they entered the theme exhibition hall, the vivid characters, touching stories, and uplifts came to them as they follow the footsteps and narration of the interpreters. The exhibition hall, closely following the theme of "New Qinghai Spiritual Heights", exhibits artworks on five topics, including the dedication of "Two Bombs and One Satellite" scientists, the trailblazing spirit of Mu Shengzhong, the enthusiasm of Ga Bulong, Yushu people's determination to combat the quake and carry out relief work, and the perseverance of Hoh Xil. This art exhibition with Qinghai characteristics displays the fact that the new Qinghai spirit is now born, nurtured, and inherited on the plateau. Under the guidance of the interpreters, international students stopped for a long time to appreciate the huge oil painting of Ga Bulong, the vivid and adorable models of Tibetan antelope, and the exquisite work named "A River of Spring Water Flowing to the East".
After the visit, the staff of the Foreign Affairs Office said that Qinghai is not only an altitude highland but also a spiritual highland, and through this activity, they would inherit the red bloodline continuously, draw the power to advance, and feel the pride of being a builder of Qinghai. In the future, we should further inherit and carry forward the new Qinghai spirit of "climbing high and gazing far with the confident, open, united, dedicated attitude, and the determination to struggle unremittingly", and contribute to building a beautiful Qinghai, showcasing its image and telling its story at a broader stage! The international students also expressed that they were moved by the great deeds of the heroes on the plateau, and that it was under the strong leadership of the Communist Party of China that generations of builders have been rooted on the plateau and worked hard to make the beautiful green mountains and water of Qinghai and the beautiful life of its people today.
