The online signing ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding on School-level Cooperation between Qinghai University and Teikyo University held in Qinghai University

On the afternoon of June 1, Vice President Wang Xiaoying, on behalf of Qinghai University, held an online video conference and signed a school-level cooperation memorandum of understanding with Teikyo University in Japan via Zoom in the meeting room on the first floor of the Intelligence Building. The meeting was presided over by Lu Ping, head of the Foreign Affairs Office. Zhang Wei, Director of the Basic Course Department Office, served as the interpreter. Zhao Changli, Director of the Academic Affairs Office, Liu Zhiqiang, Deputy Director of the Department of Computer Science, and staff from the Foreign Affairs Office attended the meeting.

At the beginning, the hosts respectively on behalf of the two universities made introduction to the attendees. Then Vice President of Qinghai University Wang Xiaoying delivered a speech on behalf of the university on its history, faculty and departments, features of disciplines, and exchanges with the outside, reviewed the exchanges and cooperation between Qinghai University and Teikyo University and related achievements made in recent years, and expressed the wish for further expansion of areas of cooperation and multidisciplinary cooperation and exchanges.

Masayuki Arai, President of the Utsunomiya campus of Teikyo University in Japan, gave an overview of Teikyo University and its international exchanges, reviewed his visit to Qinghai University in 2017 and that of teachers and students from Qinghai University to Japan for exchanges, and expressed his belief in the more in-depth and extensive exchanges and cooperation between the two universities in fields like computer and medical science.

After that, the two parties conducted a detailed and pleasant discussion on cooperation in the next step. Finally, Vice President Wang Xiaoying and President Masayuki Arai signed the Memorandum of Understanding on School-level Cooperation on behalf of respective universities, and had a group photo taken.
